Text index without its own entries
What changes in Text index without its own entries compared with MongoDB and what your application has to do.
This difference is of the Different kind.
What MongoDB does
The text index stores its entries and explain shows the TEXT plan.
What TeselaDB does
Each $text query reads the collection and scores what it reads with MongoDB's rules for tokens and stop words and with its rules for stems and scoring, so explain does not show the TEXT plan.
What your application has to do
For large collections, use search with $search, which does have an index.
